Important Information about
selecting the correct height
It is essential that when selecting early years furniture you ensure that the correct sizes of chair and table are ordered. One size does not fit all as a younger child will have diffuculty sitting in a chair designed for a child two or three years older.
Our chairs have been designed to ensure that the appropriate aged child can use the correct chair easily and be given correct support. Selecting the correct chair to table height is also very important as it aids a child in maintaining the right posture.
Ouse Teacher's Chair
The Ouse teacher's chair is a full size adult chair with a seat height of 36cm to enable teacher to sit at a more appropriate level for teaching and feeding .

Derwent Tables
The Derwent range of tables are specially designed for use in the early years sector and the frames are constructed from solid European Beech for strength and stability.
The tops are made from highly durable laminate and the solid Beech edges are rounded to prevent injury. The table legs are fitted with plastic feet to prevent floor marking.
All the tables share some commondimensions allowing them to be combined in a
variety of shapes.

Wye Chairs
The Wye chair is a classic stackable design suitable for early years use. The chairs are constructed in European Beech with laminated Beech seats and backs and are finished in a hard wearing lacquer to ensure long lasting good looks.
The chair feet are fitted with plastic glides to prevent floor marking and the chair itself is light enough to be moved by adults and children alike.

The Jack Low/Highchair
This low level highchair features a seat height of just 32cm which makes it ideal for introducing children to dining at nursery table heights. The jack highchair is made from solid European Beech and is fitted with wipe clean safety straps as standard.
